What is Modus.me?
The Modus.me is an international and free English-based service where you have the opportunity to win valuable prizes even without any investment, and where you can get the latest Digital Products with great discount. It also can be the best place for you to advertise yourself or your company at reduced prices with great conversion.
How many accounts may I own?
You are only allowed to have one account. In case of owning more accounts, these will be terminated, your IP address(es) will be banned and you will be deprived of the point you've collected. In case of forgetting your login name or password, please click on the "Forgot Username or Password?" button in the login page.
What is a ModusPoint and what is a Modus PromoPoint?
ModusPoint: After every successfully viewed advertisement or watched video advertisement you get ModusPoints that can be exchanged to tickets belonging to valuable prizes that can be won!
PromoPoint: After every successfully sold e-books (even by you or your referrals’), you get PromoPoints that can be exchanged to valuable items in the Promo Shop.
Are there any limitations in ModusPoints / PromoPoints collecting?
No. You can visit as many websites as you want, you can watch as many video ads as you want and you can have as much referrals as you want. This way there's no limit in collecting Points.
If I have plenty of ModusPoints (and this way plenty of tickets) am I allowed to choose more items?
Yes! :)
How can I have referrals?
Within Members menu in Stats area you'll find your unique referral code that can be used. There you also have the possibility to invite your friends & acquaintances to this site. You can even use the banner.
A message of error appears when I try to register or login! Why?
Make sure you type your verification code correctly (check Caps Lock and Num Lock as well).If it still doesn't work, clean your cache, cookies, temporary files etc. If your problem still exists please contact us!
I won an item! How will I get it?
Within members menu in stats area you will see a form that should be correctly filled by you. After you have sent this form your prize will be sent.
I won a digital product! How will I get it?
We will send to you the download link of the digital product via email.
What is PayPal?
PayPal is the payment processing solution that we use to complete payments between members. Your PayPal address is the e-mail address you use to register with PayPal. You can get a free PayPal account at https://paypal.com.
What is Alertpay?
AlertPay is an alternative to PayPal. It works the same as paypal, but it has lower transaction rates compared to PayPal.
How can I cancel my account?
Inactive accounts are automatically cancelled after a certain time.
What payment methods do Modus accept?
Currently we accep Paypal and AlertPay.
Digital products
How can I buy and download a product?
Within Digital Products menu choose your preferred category and then simply click to download. If you have finished the whole process and you have paid for the product you will get an email containing the download link!
For advertisers
How can I advertise?
At Modus.me you have several options. You can simply and quickly advertise your website using classic online advertisement forms (banner, website ad or text ad) or you have the possibility to use a brand new and unique way of video-advertising.
How can I advertise my website?
It takes only a few clicks in the 'Advertise' menu. Give the number of expected visitors and other details that fit to your taste and advertisement budget. Note that paying is accepted via Paypal or Alertpay.
How can I video-advertise?
You must have a recorded video ad to advertise. You can upload it easily within Advertisers menu in Video advertise area. (If you would like to make a pre-calculation for your video advertisement, click on ‘cost pre-calculator’ button.) Upload your file. Note that uploading can take a few minutes depending on the size of the file. When your video is successfully uploaded you can give the advertisement details fitting to your taste and advertisement budget.
What is the maximum size I am allowed to upload as a video ad?
The maximum size is 300MB.
What formats are accepted to be uploaded?
We accept: avi, mpeg, mpg, mpe, asf, rm, rmvb, gt, mov, mp4, 3gp and wmv.
Are my visits guaranteed?
Yes. We guarantee that you will receive at least the amount of traffic that you ordered.
Is each visit unique from the last?
Each visit is unique on a scale of 24 hours. Meaning, you will only be charged for the same visitor once per 24 hours. On the Visit page, the "Member Visits" counts the unique visits from members and the "Outside Visits" counts each page hit from non-members.
Are there any restrictions?
Your ad cannot promote violent content or illegal activity. We also do not accept sites that use frame breakers. Please read the TOS.
My advertisement is in process at Modus.me! Can I have any kind of information about the process?
Yes! Within ’Advertise’ menu click on ’My Advertises’ to see current information of your advertisement. In addition there you can even interrupt your advertisement or change the daily limit of viewers.
I have just uploaded my advertisement and payed for it but in ’My Advertises’ I see it among ’Expired Advertises’. Why?
Because among your target group more users can be allowed to watch your ad at the same time, comparing to the amount of the number of users you have given as a limit to your ad. This way your advertisement can be seen within an extremely short time.
